I’m not sure there’s anything more uncouth and embarrassing than when people offhandedly tweet about celebrity encounters or report them to Deuxmoi. What’s far funnier and more interesting is when I’m mistaken for a F-list celebrity in the lobby of The Roxy, or when my friends who work with celebrities get intel about them like, “she’s normal.” I had a civilian-celebrity encounter recently, however, that made me so irate I started angrily reporting on the scenario at such a rapid rate my boyfriend started calling me Clarez Hilton. This is something that could really go places.
