If you’re wondering why I haven’t posted about Megalopolis yet, it’s because I haven’t seen it. I’m going just some short hours after this is being posted. It is going to fix all my problems and make me happy.

NYFF is nigh

I’m getting ready to attend my first ever NYFF screenings, the mild anticipation for which is keeping me abreast. I need to stop declaring I “had a meltdown” in these weekly updates because if you experience something every waking moment it is no longer event but condition, and I can’t remember the last time I slept more than 6 hours in fits and spurts between waking up worrying I forgot to send an email. Though I am also blissfully curious to learn what kind of freak performance Joe Alwyn turns out in The Brutalist, which I refuse to learn anything about before subjecting myself to 4 hours of it.
